This original painting has been hand selected to show in the Spring 2023 Highpoint Market located in N.C. where it will be debuting the upcoming trends/fashion of tomorrow. Each of the 295 butterflies selected have been hand preserved, dried, and spread.  These beautiful specimens have been hand collected from 4 different continents all across the world.  The butterfly names, countries of origin, field elevation, date of archive, are hidden all throughout this interesting and complex piece. The natural distortion to the wings, shows the complexity of real world nature in its natural environment. It is a crafted on a 48″ x 72″ professional 2″ thick canvas. Sealed in a hard gloss coating, giving it a sparkle and shine from any angle when the light hits right. Butterflies have modified hairs called scales (feels like dust) that make up the intricate patterns of their wings. These hairs change color and luminosity at different angles, in different light, providing this piece with an extra layer of BLISS.
