Drew’s passion as a creator comes from his experiences throughout his life. Growing up on the Mississippi River in Memphis, Tennessee, Drew was captivated by seeing the things around him in a different perspective. Seeing remarkable beauty in the ordinary.
Drew was blessed to have had a successful professional basketball career that led him to live in places all over the world. Drew’s years living in Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Japan, and Romania influenced and refined his overall artistic style while never forgetting his U.S. southern roots.
Drew is a self-taught artist that is ever growing and evolving. He is best known for his creative compositions of butterflies that vividly speak life and his interpretation of portraits that tend to tell a story. His pieces capture a shared experience or emotion that speak without using words. He loves experimenting with new mediums and challenging himself to create art that makes a wall talk. His pieces make a statement. Drew currently lives in Memphis, Tennessee with his wife, Sara; and when he is not painting, you can catch him enjoying being a pilot on a Pilatus aircraft.
